Specializing in Indigenous cultures and wildlife, I have always been drawn to the native inhabitants of our planet. They are true to their region, environment and culture. In a sense, they are the real diamonds of the Earth! My paintings are representational with a twist utilizing a more minimalist style, a splash of organic wood along with the subject, makes for an interesting compliment.

I have painted with oils all my life, attending San Francisco Art Academy, Cal Arts briefly, and Laguna Beach School of Art before their tragic fire. A well-noted artist of Laguna Beach, Armen Gasparian, who took me under his wing once told me: "Michelle, whatever you do, never stop painting." Well , life happens and painting was placed on the "back burner" for decades. I traveled the world, raised a beautiful family, and have since returned to my passion in recent years.
